I'm a thirty-something fencing instructor (swords, not pickets). I have diverse interests, and my schedules is entirely too random.

In addition to running a nonprofit fencing studio, I am also a part-time student at Willamette University.

I live with my fabulous wife and four cats (because we do not want five, thank you) in a bungalow that has been under renovation for ten years now (ugh).

In the last year, I have discovered that I am a two-sport athlete, which is rather remarkable for those that have known me for awhile. My other sport (besides fencing) is distance cycling. Thanks to my recumbent trike (a Catrike Road), I have ridden distances I would never have dreamed of a year ago.

I have been known to make appearances at the three local Episcopal churches. We also enjoy visiting Episcopal/Anglican churches when we travel. Our favorites include:
St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Ely, Nevada
Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland
Grace Cathedral in San Francisco
Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, BC, Canada
St. Paul's Anglican Church on the West End in Vancouver, BC
